warnmcr: Extra..! Extra..!

On a blazingly hot morning there seems an irony to the brilliance of sun beaming down on this most sombre of weeks... so for a small touch of escapism...

This weekend there's still Ellie Dubois's Ringside at The Lowry (Fri 26 - Sun 28 May) while further afield, PhysicalFest is  in Liverpool (26 May-3 Jun, this week including Tmesis Theatre, Kallo Collective and Chaliwate); and Debs Gatenby's A Place Called Happiness is at the HUB, Leeds on Sun 28 May.

Next week (w/c 29 May) sees Salford Works 2017 at University of Salford on Tue 30 May with Ali Wilson, James Monaghan and Josh Jones; Mark Murphy/V-TOL's Out of the World is at The Lowry on Tue 30 + Wed 31 May; while Nigel Barratt + Mari Louise's Margate/Dreamland is at the Royal Exchange Theatre on Fri 2 + Sat 3 Jun. Also look out for upcoming events from Becoming Storybook. Over in Liverpool, PhysicalFest continues, including Levantes Dance Theatre, Lauren Silver, Katy Anne Bellis, Ishumi Ashizawa and Jamie Wood.

The following week (w/c 5 June) Blast Theory comes to HOME; and the Mayers Ensemble is at Bradford Theatre in the Mill.
We, meanwhile, will be off making blockbuster movies (!)... and here's an offer you don't get every day - we are looking for named roles and extras for Richard DeDomenici's 24 Hour Party People Redux.  So, if you see yourself as Tony Wilson, Bez or just popping up in a crowd scene, we will be filming on Sun 4 - Tue 6 Jun at various locations.  Most shoots will take about an hour, no experience needed, though we'd *really* like to hear from you if you were in the original film! All the info and how to get in touch is here - please do come and join us!
