warnmcr: looks ahead...

So, as a cold wind re-emerges from the east, if you're headed in that direction, tonight Fri 16 Mar there's Snakebox's Play (Akeim Toussaint Buck + Otis Jones) at Seven Artspace, Leeds and Commonwealth's Radical Acts at Bradford Theatre in the Mill; while in Manchester this weekend and next week you can still catch Contact's outing to Rusholme for Rasa's Handlooms (til 24 Mar).

Next week (w/c 19 Mar) the LBT in Huddersfield kicks off A Festival - including A Scratch Night on Tue 20 Mar; while in Preston there's Derelict Live with LaPelle's Factory's The Black Cat at the Media Factory on Wed 21 Mar; and Sweetshop Revolution's BeautifuL is at the Capstone Theatre, Liverpool Hope University on Thu 22 Mar. Meanwhile in Leeds, Lone Twin's On Everest is at Stage@Leeds also on Thu 22 Mar.
Closer to home, for the very young at heart, Simon Mole's Friends For All (directed by our own Peader Kirk) is at Z-arts on Sat 24 Mar.

The following few weeks see the Easter hiatus - but you can catch the IF Dance Festival at Lancaster Arts on Mon 26 Mar; or, over in Huddersfield, the LBT continues A Festival with Sameena Hussain, Demi Nandhra (also at Theatre in the Mill on 12 + 13 Apr) Jackie Hagan on Fri 30 Mar; and Nathaniel Hall, Sonya Moorehead and Rhum and Clay on Sat 31 Mar. De Nada Dance Theatre's Toro: Beauty and the Bull is at The Lowry on Sun 1 April and Victoria Melody's Ugly Chief is at The Old Courts, Wigan on Fri 6 + Sat 7 Apr.

This Weekly Warning is going to take advantage of the Easter lull, so will be back in April - when we'll also be putting on sale tickets for Works Ahead 2018 (Thu 17 + Fri 18 May ) - with new works in development from Vijay Patel and Emma Geraghty.

Have a good break!

best
