warnmcr: out of your box...

This week I find myself just a touch relieved to be able to say that there are no Word of Warning events... so I can returning to playing the role of audience member, just for a change...

This weekend there's still Jack Rooke's Good Grief (tonight Fri 19 May) and Kieran Hurley's Heads Up (til Sat 20 May) - both at HOME; while over in Sheffield the Unshut Festival runs til tomorrow Sat 20 May and includes  Jodean Sumner, Thick Richard and Ali Wilson.

Next week (w/c 22nd May) Reckless Sleepers' Schrödinger is at Contact Wed 24 + Thu 25 May; and Ellie Dubois's Ringside is at The Lowry (26-28 May). Further afield PhysicalFest starts in Liverpool (26 May-3 Jun, this week including Tmesis Theatre, Kallo Collective and Chaliwate); while Debs Gatenby's A Place Called Happiness is at the HUB, Leeds on Sun 28 May.

The following week (w/c 29 May) sees Salford Works 2017; Mark Murphy at The Lowry; Nigel Barratt + Mari Louise at Royal Exchange Theatre while in Liverpool, PhysicalFest continues (including Levantes Dance Theatre and Jamie Wood).

I'm now off to pretend to be a movie producer for the upcoming 24 Hour Party People Redux!
