warnmcr: road...works...

This morning sees me take a momentary pause for daylight to write this, before returning to the dark depths of various Works Ahead black-boxes. You've still got a chance to join us in one of those, tonight Fri 12 May - either at STUN Studio for Chanje Kunda's Superposition or at Contact for Toni-Dee Paul's My Father's Kitchen + Tom Cassani's Someone Loves You Drive With Care.  Take your pick from astrophysical lap-dancing or dumplings + deception.  Of course I'm biased but *do* see something - they're all quite special.

Elsewhere this weekend in Leeds, there's Edythe Wooley's Did You Get That From Your Mother? at Live Art Bistro on Sat 13 May; and Best of Both Worlds's A Busker's Opera at the HUB on Sun 14 May.

Next week (w/c 15 May) rounding off our current unfeasible run, Word of Warning pops back up at The Lowry for Stephanie Ridings's The Road To Huntsville on Wed 17 May.
Contact has James Wilton Dance's Leviathan (Tue 16 + Wed 17 May); and HOME is also busy with Jack Rooke's Good Grief (17-19 May) and Kieran Hurley's Heads Up (18-20 May).
Elsewhere, Milk Presents Joan is at the LBT, Huddersfield on Mon 15 May; the Unshut Festival is in Sheffield (18-20 May); and Afreena Islam's Daughters of the Curry Revolution is at Oldham Coliseum on Thu 18 May.

The following week (w/c 22nd May) sees Reckless Sleepers at Contact; Ellie Dubois at The Lowry; (the relocated) PhysicalFest in Liverpool (26 May-3 Jun); and Debs Gatenby at the HUB, Leeds.

While I dive back into the darkness, please do join us for Works Ahead this evening at Contact or STUN Studio.

best
