warnmcr: spilling the beans...

Through the totally fallible miracles of autoscheduling, you're hopefully receiving this while I'm basking in (or more likely checking out of) the dubious luxury of a shared Premier Inn room in Ipswich for Spill Festival - oh, the jetset lifestyle of the livearterati!

Back in parts northern, this weekend Orbit Festival at HOME includes Figs in Wigs' Often Onstage on Fri 2 + Sat 3 Nov. In Leeds, Fuel Theatre's Tonight We Fly Festival is ongoing til Sat 3 Nov including Andy Smith's Summit (tonight) and the Lock Her Up installation inc Rachel Mars + Paula Varjack on Fri 2 + Sat 3 Nov. Liz Agiss's Slap and Tickle is at Liverpool Hope University (as part of LEAP 2018) tonight Fri 2 Nov; while Andy Smith's Summit is also at Derelict Live in Preston on Sat 3 Nov.

homotopia (2 Nov - 1 Dec) - this week including Peter Groom's Dietrich: Natural Duty on Tue 6 Nov and Darren Pritchard Dance's Rent Party on Wed 7 + Thu 8 Nov - both at the Unity.

The following week (w/c 12 Nov) in Mancunia, Festival of Leaving continues with SefirothTravis Alabanza is at the Royal Exchange Theatre; and Amy Vreeke is at New Adelphi, Salford.  On Merseyside, LEAP concludes with James Wilton Dance; Dadafest continues with The Depressed Artists Support Bureau and Mandy Redvers-Rowe; and comes together with homotopia for Mina and Fittings Multimedia; while homotopia also has Scottee and Travis Alabanza.  Elsewhere, Kate O'Donnell is in Edgehill and PrestonJamal Gerald is in Sheffield while, in Leeds, Compass Festival (16-25 Nov) kicks off with a welcome and Etheridge + Persighetti's Public House.

Meanwhile... in the alternate universe of Ipswich, I imagine we're about to head off in search of some elusive site-specific work - or failing that, brunch!
