warnmcr: spring awakening..?

Allegedly the weather drama is over (at least as far as the newsworthy south is concerned, but keep checking Pennine routes) -  so if you want to get out and about, there's a busy weekend ahead:

You can still catch Action Hero's Slaptalk on Sat 10 Mar at HOME and CYC + Sh!t Theatre's She Bangs The Drums at MOSI (until Sun 11 Mar).  In Leeds, Live Art Bistro has Age of The FELINE PURRFECT tonight, Fri 9 Mar; while Seven Artspace has Horse + Bamboo's Moonwatcher on Fri 9 Mar (also in Rossendale on Sat 10 + Sun 11 Mar); and Slung Low's HUB has Best of BE Festival on Sat 10  and Proto-type Theater's The Audit on Sun 11 Mar. Elsewhere, in Liverpool the Playhouse has Mark Thomas's Showtime from the Frontline (til Sat 10 Mar); while Unity has Alice Bunker-Whitney's Place and Chips (Fri 9 + Sat 10 Mar); and in Lancaster, Aliki Chapple's 666 Comments is at The Storey on Sat 10 Mar.

Next week (w/c 12 Mar) Contact has Rasa's Handlooms in a saree shop in Rusholme (12-24 Mar); while the Lowry has Mark Thomas's Showtime From The Frontline (Tue 13 + Wed 14 Mar) and Ceci N'est Pas Noire + Clay  (Thu 15 Mar). Also on Thu 15 Mar is the Dance With Us platform at New Adelphi, University of Salford.

Further afield, the Arts Centre at Edgehill University has Akademi's The Troth on Tue 13 Mar and Company Chameleon's 10  on Thu 15 Mar. Derelict at the Media Factory, Preston has Tin Can People's Katie and Pip on Wed 14 Mar. Snakebox's Play (Akeim Toussaint Buck + Otis Jones) is at Seven Artspace, Leeds on Thu 16 Mar; and Commonwealth's Radical Acts is in Bradford on Fri 17 Mar.

The following week (w/c 19 Mar) seems to be seeing the slide towards Easter - but there's still  Derelict Live with LaPelle's Factory in Preston; and Sweetshop Revolution at Liverpool Hope.
