warnmcr: WoW's gone to Iceland...

Not a frozen food commercial but, being a bit partied out from last week's rent party extravaganza, for a radical change of scene from a chilly tower block, as this missive reaches you, I'm in an even chillier Reykjavik  - at the Everybody's Spectacular festival (obviously hard at work and *not* basking in the Blue Lagoon!)

For those of you closer to home, this weekend, head to Contact for some Black Gold with Cheryl Martin's Who Wants To Live Forever on Fri 17 + Sat 18 and Nuclear on Sat 18 Nov.

Next week (w/c 20 Nov) Contact remains busy with Keisha Thompson's Man On The Moon (21-25 Nov) and Uchenna Dance's The Head Wrap Diaries (Wed 22 + Thu 23 Nov). Legroom has Alex De Little's Resonance, Tactility + Movement on Wed 22 Nov; while Company Chameleon's Illuminate is at Manchester Central Library on Fri 24 + Sat 25 Nov (waiting list only).  Further afield Chanje Kunda's Superposition is at Lancaster Arts.

The following week (w/c 27 Nov) Dickie Beau and Mawaan Rizwan are at Contact; Forced Entertainment are at HOME; or for some alternative festiveness, Tangled Dance are at Heaton Hall.  Further afield, Greg Wohead is at Bradford Theatre in the Mill and Jamal Gerald is at Live Art Bistro, Leeds.

Rent Party:Domestic Edition brought WoW's 2017 season to a rousing close - we'll be letting you know what our 7th year brings in early January.  I meanwhile, I'm off to experience some nordic performance!
