warnmcr: 24hr political party people...

So as we wave goodbye to May (if only), we at WoW gear up for a weekend of battling through gridlock in the name of movie-making, followed by a week where the merest glimmer of political hope gets ultimately cruelly dashed...

This weekend you can catch Nigel Barratt + Mari Louise's Margate/Dreamland at the Royal Exchange Theatre on Fri 2 + Sat 3 Jun; and Becoming Storybook is at Hulme Community Garden Centre the next few Saturdays. In Liverpool PhysicalFest reaches its conclusion with Tmesis and Jamie Wood; and in Leeds, Live Art Bistro has Uncanny Theatre's Something Terrible Might Happen tonight Fri 2 Jun and The Gender Roadshow (til 4 Jun)

Next week (w/c 5 June) seems quite quiet, but for a bit of interactivity Blast Theory's Operation Black Antler comes to HOME (7-17 May); while the The Mayers Ensemble's What If I Told You is at Bradford Theatre in the Mill on Thu 8 Jun. Also on Thu 8th, after voting of course, I'm sorely tempted to head over to Leeds for Live Art Bistro's Election Night Special.

The following week (w/c 12 June) Powder Keg are at the Royal Exchange; Qasim Riza Shaheen + LaJohn Joseph are at HOME; while further afield Nick Cassenbaum and Hidden Track are at Theatre Delicatessen, Sheffield.

I'm off to puzzle over location logistics for Richard DeDomenici's 24 Hour Party People Redux
