As the festival flurry dies down, if you haven't been sufficiently miffed, this weekend sees your last chance to catch MIF events including Balmy Army (until 15 Jul) at HOME; then until 16 Jul: Benji Reid's Find Your Eyes at the Academy + R.O.S.E at New Century Hall; Tino Seghal's This Entry at the Whitworth and Blast Theory + Manchester Street Poem's We Cut Through Dust.
Next week (w/c 17 Jul) for us, the story of the week is that, on Sat 22 Jul we are back at Z-arts for the madness that is Haphazard - an afternoon of all ages live art with all sorts from a giant spinning jellyfish to a laser show.
Signdance Collective's Oriente Plus/Power Cut is also at the Whitworth Art Garden on Thu 20 Jul while in Sheffield, Owen + Slater's Try | Trying | Tried is Theatre Deli on Sat 22 Jul. Much further afield there's Journey's Festival in Leicester (Sat 22 + Sun 23 Jul).
The following week (w/c 24 Jul) CYC are on Castlefied Viaduct while Gracefool Collective take to the streets of Leeds and Ayse Balkoso and Wency Lam are in Sheffield.
Online - CLAY have the Chasm Digital projects, possibly until 21 July and GM Fringe has Making It Up and Tigers in the Wisteria throughout July.
