Now doris day has been and gone, things are looking a little calmer, so this weekend venturing east will take you to Lauren Silver's Surprise on Sat 25 Feb at Theatre in the Mill, Bradford; or in Leeds: Rachael Young's OUT at Live Art Bistro (also on Sat 25 Feb) and Daniel Bye's Safe House at the HUB on Sun 26 Feb.
Next week (w/c 27 Feb) the only place to be in parts Mancunian is with Word of Warning at the Lowry for Proto-type Theater's A Machine on They're Secretly Building on Wed 1 Mar. Also, later in the week HOME has Paul Auster's City of Glass (4-10 Mar).
Further afield, Axis, Crewe is busy with Proto-type Theater on Tue 28 Feb and Kieran Hurley's Heads Up on Thu 2 Mar; while Liz Rothschild's Outside the Box is at the LBT, Huddersfield on Fri 3 Mar. LEAP 2017 begins in Liverpool with Gary Clarke's COAL (Wed 1+ Thu 2 Mar) at the Unity Theatre.
The following week (w/c 6 Mar) is truly bonkers: SICK! Festival (8-25 Mar) kicks off with, in Week 1: Hiraeth (with our own Afreena Islam, Toni Dee Paul + Jamil Keating); plus Liz Agiss, Ridiculusmus and Sophie Willan.

Also in Liverpool, Reckless Sleepers are at Liverpool Hope University.
