warnmcr: banking on the holiday...

Word of Warning...
With a bank holiday weekend in the air (perfect for reading 70 Hazard proposals..!), things are a bit quiet in Manchester, but focus shifts to Liverpool.

Still worth considering this week are Avaes Mohammed's Of Another World on Fri 23 + Sat 24 May at Theatre in the Mill and, on Sat 24 May Léonie Kate Higgins's Dirty Old River  at The Lowry.

Over in Liverpool Physical Fest kicks off tonight (23-31 May mainly at Unity Theatre) with Fest Live; continuing with a Doublebill, including Mary Pearson on Sat 24; on Tues 27 the infamous Red Bastard and Res des Res Remor (sited); and Jamie Wood's Oh No! on Sat 31 May.

Next week, the big heads-up in Manchester is for the return of Split Britches Ruff to Contact on Wed 28 May.

Local activity picks up the following week (w/c 2 June) with Quarantine's Summer , Hoax's My Lonely Heart and Puffball, both at the Royal Exchange and Irregular Arts at Bradford Theatre in the Mill.

Meanwhile, if you fancy a trip further afield Neat 14 is taking place in (Nottingham 23 May - 1 June), with contributions from Hatch Nottingham, Reckless Sleepers,Belarus Free Theatre, Proto-type Theater, Michael Pinchbeck's new show: Bolero and some interesting programming from Dance4.
