Word of Warning...
Having failed miserably to brave the snowy Pennines to see Jamal Harewood last night (sorry!), I'm hoping to fare better getting to Liverpool for Tmesis Theatre's That's Amore at the Unity (tonight, Fri 30 + tomorrow, Sat 31 Jan)!
Next week as we skate into February, Lucy Hutson's Britney Spears Custody Battle vs. Zeus in Swan Rape Shocker is at Live Art Bistro in Leeds; and closer to home, there's Queer Contact's co-promotion with WoW of Amy + Rosana Cade's Sister (sold-out) followed by Eggs Collective Get A Round, both Thu 5 - Sat 7 Feb.
Also 5-7 Feb, intriguingly, over at Stage@Leeds there's David Shearing & Company's The Weather Machine.
The following week (w/c 9 Feb), you could easily be out every night of the week: with Tom Marshman, Ashley Knowles and Kate O'Donnell at Queer Contact; Fergus Evans at the Lowry; Reckless Sleepers at Axis, Crewe; and Chris Thorpe + Hannah Walker in Lancaster. And as a final heads-up, if anyone is craving a bit of big dance, Manchester Theatres has an offer for Richard Alston Dance on Tue 10 Feb at the Lowry!
