So it's the eve of the 21st Emergency. A bit like the Olympics (of the bizarre), this is the 2020 Emergency happening in 2021 and unbelievably it's 10 months since we'd originally intended to do it! Join us tomorrow, Sat 25 Sep, for a walkthrough of the brand new Contact building featuring looping and durational work by Ayzmar, Helena Ascough, Kellie Colbert & Deborah Newton, Kelvin Atmadibrata, Lydia Cottrell, Maryam Hashemi, Miray Sidhom, Mitzee, Rowena Gander, Sebastian H-W, Simon Carroll-Jones & Wayne Steven Jackson. It's free but you do need to book a ticket to help keep a safe capacity.

In other Word of Warning news - we can also announce two more shows - finally in person, Tania Camara's Oreo at STUN on Fri 15 Oct and Dani Abulhawa's Concord at the Holden Gallery on Fri 22 Oct.

Tonight, Fri 24 Oct HOME has an Evening of HipHop with new work by Anton Phung and Adam Scott plus Rhum + Clay's War of the Worlds (until Sat 2 Oct) while Leeds Playhouse has Imitating the Dog's Dracula the Untold Story (25 Sep-9 Oct)
Next week, The Lowry has Akram Khan's Xenos on Wed 29 + Thu 30 Sep; and HOME has Emanuel Bajiiji's Candy Floss (30 Sep - 2 Oct) while Cap & Dove, the travelling micro arts centre, is ongoing to 2 Oct.

The following week, w/c 4 Oct, Contact has CYC's Everything all of the Time; HOME has Jennifer Jackson's Endurance + Cassils's Human Measure; while the Family Vogue Ball pops up at the Old Courts, Wigan and The Met, Bury.
In general keep your eye on Manchester Independents as new things are still being added.
