Here we are in the hinterland between Spring and Summer - it's the first of June and things are already looking a touch quiet out there. Tonight, Fri 1 Jun you can catch the Performing Gender event at Yorkshire Dance, Leeds - or - at the risk of shooting myself in the foot: Deborah Pearson's History, History, History at Warrington Festival (*of course* coming Pay What You Decide to The Lowry, courtesy of Word of Warning, on Wed 13 Jun)
Next week (w/c 4 Jun) it's kind o all about Friday 8th: Rachel Mars's Joke Translation Service is at the Royal Exchange and there's Drift, a new artist-led event at Great Northern Warehouse, plus North & South's Theatre with Legs is at Bradford Theatre in the Mill. Other days have a smattering: on Wed 6 Jun there's the NEWK Scratch night at Live Art Bistro; on Thu 7 Jun Frances Kay's FK vs KT The Showdown is at Huddersfield University; and on Sat 9 Jun Motionhouse's Charge is at Media City.

The following week (w/c 11 Jun) there's an unfathomably fleeting flurry - with David Hoyle, Chris Thorpe + Mala Voadora and Breach - all at HOME; Barrel Organ at the Royal Exchange (and in Leeds); Eggs Collective in St Helen's and Thrown in Bradford. Naturally, though, the week wouldn't be complete without carving a small window in your diaries to join us at The Lowry, for the aforementioned very excellent Deborah Person's History History History!
Enjoy Sprummer..!
