warnmcr: march of time...

No quips or word play this week - the only news story that matters is not joke fodder - but for anyone that hasn't seen it, a clip of Zelenskyy's 'piano playing' seems a fitting tribute in this particular arena.

In performance world the pace continues to pick up, and we've even got some work to save the date for; before that though:

IRL:
This weekend News News News (created with Andy Field + Beckie Darlington) is at Contact on Sat 5 Mar; while You Heard Me is at Theatre in the Mill, Bradford and Verve is at the Riley Theatre, NSCD both on Fri 4 + Sat 5 Mar.

Next week (w/c 7 Mar) on Tue 8 Mar All Things Equal is at Mayfield and Oddly Moving's Atlasis at The Lowry. Eleanor May Blackburn's Subdural Haematoma is at the King's Arms on 10 + 11 Mar, while for younger viewers, Reckless Sleepers' It's Hot It's Not is at The Lowry (10-12 Mar).

Further afield Transform (9 Mar-9 Apr) kicks off in Leeds with Jaha Koo's The History of Korean Western Theatre while also in Leeds, Northern Connections 22 is at NSCD.
Much further afield Sprint kicks off at Camden People's Theatre on 8 Mar.

The following week (w/c 14 Mar) is busy: Submerge Festival (17-26 Mar) gets going including The Dan Daw Show at HOME, Sarah Leghissa in the street and Pigpen and Nurture at SeeSaw. Meanwhile Phoebe Francis Brown is also at Contact and Lost Dog and Talk Show are at The Lowry.

In Leeds, Transform has The Sound Grief ProjectJamal Gerald + Nadia Beugré.
In Liverpool, Angel Field Festival has Synbia  and Trails while The Truth To Power project arrives in Hudersfield.
