As our clown in chief flexes his pecs, you do wonder if it's part of this year's crop of pre-Edinburgh comedy warm-up gigs? Elsewhere we're heading into a July slow-down, but there's stll stuff to see...
IRL:
This weekend, Dorcas Seb's Vice Versa is at HOME on Fri 1 + Sat 2 Jul; while Greater Manchester Fringe runs 1-31 Jul. Meanwhile, in Liverpool, Leo & Hyde's Double Life is at the Unity (28 Jun-Jul); while over in Leeds, Yorkshire Dance hosts the Ageless Festival, including work by Emilyn Claid, Angus Balbernie, Eva Recacha + the Royale Dancehall Flamingoes. Even further afield, in Birmingham, Healing Gardens of Bab runs until 18 Jul.
Next week (w/c 4 Jul) there's a Bunker Talk live with FrankoB at the Salutation on Tue 5 Jul; while HOME hosts Trân Tran's Here & Now (7-9 Jul) and the return of Scottee's Fat Blokes on Sat 9 Jul. Up in the Norther Quarter, Short Supply invites you to Eat Shit at SOUP on Fri 8 Jul. In Liverpool Dorcas Seb's Vice Versa is at Unity on Fri 8 Jul.
The following week (w/c 11 Jun) looks pretty quiet though Freddie Hayes's Potatohead on Thu 14 Jul at the Kings Arms looks intriguing as does Curfew on sat 16 Jul at the Unity; while Daniel Kitson is in Chester, but sold-out.
Coming soon: in July, Humanhood's ∞ {Infinite} at The Lowry; Seren Marimba's Dawn at MMU; CYC with Gob Squad and Sale Waterside's Refract Festival; plus Mandla's As British As A Watermelon in Shefield.
In August, look out for a little invasion of public spaces courtesy of Proud & Loud Arts' Gambit; and the Emergency (1 Oct) call for proposals remains open until 5 Aug.
Online:
If one more kind person would like to subscribe to our YouTube, I can shut up about it and you can see Helena Ascough's What a clown or my exciting take on the new NLPG!

As the summer lull sets in I might slow the frequency of these mails, but will be back sporadically when there's stuff to talk about and with the return of my futile attempt to dissect Edinburgh.
Keep checking our News + Information page for more pointers to opportunities and show videos online, and @WarnMcr on Twitter for short-notice performances.
