warnmcr: northern no-power-house...

If the Northern Powerhouse was all about the transport infrastructure, yesterday we discovered that Power is really a multipack of unbranded batteries from a poundshop... so don't expect 'nipping to a show' in another city to get easier anytime soon, nevertheless...

IRL:
Next week, w/c 22 Nov is hectic. HOME has Two Destination Language's Near Gone  (23-25 Nov); Figs in Wigs' Astrology Bingo on Fri 26 Nov and Xavier de Sousa's Regnant on Sat 27 Nov. Contact has The Queer House's Pink Lemonade 23-27 Nov; while The Lowry has Extraordinary Bodies' Human on Wed 24 Nov and Botis Seva's BLKDOG on Fri 26 Nov. For something historically revealing, Malandra Jacks' A City Beneath the City is at East Manchester Academy on Fri 26 Nov.

Beyond Mancunia, Victoria Firth's The Butter Piece is at CLAY in Leeds on Fri 26 Nov and Julia Griffin's I Used To Be is in Warrington on Sat 27 Nov. In Liverpool, in a late addition, DaDaFest's DDFS21 has a series of scratch performances at Unity, 23-27 Nov.

The following week, w/c 29 Nov Dibby Theatre is at Contact; Sleepwalk Collective + Christopher Brett Bailey at HOME; and The Family Vogue Ball at Z-arts.

Online:
New - you can listen to DreamFM's What Do You Dream Of at 9pm nightly til Thu 16 Dec.
Last chance for DanteorDie's Skin Hunger on Film (unti 28 Nov) and Tamzen Moulding's Fall, Wake + Exit  (until 1 Dec) can be watched via The Lowry; HOME's HOMEMAKERS is still running and there's also still MIF Watch On Demand and Unity Online (including catch ups of in person programme).  As ever, have a look at Word of Warning's YouTube channel for previous events and Domesticated our home for online video.
