warnmcr: pushing off...

Still a little bleary from the break, nevertheless here we go for another year – and HOME is giving us a good shove out of hibernation and into PUSH 2019 (11-26 Jan).

This weekend it kicks off with a launch party tonight (Fri 11 Jan), then there's Mighty Heart's Propel scratch night and Fram & Dunt tomorrow, Sat 12 Jan; plus House of Ghetto's The Hidden Pin Up on Sun 13 Jan.
Elsewhere, over in Leeds, Live Art Bistro has Edythe Woolley's Fishy tonight, Fri 11 Jan.

Next week (w/c 14 Jan) PUSH continues with (our own) Emma Geraghty's Fat Girl Singing on Mon 14 + Tue 15 Jan; and includes Conor A's Learning To Swim On An Ironing Board on Wed 16 Jan (+ Tue 22 Jan); Mighty Heart Theatre's Binge (17-19 Jan); Josh Coates's Angels night on Sat 19 Jan plus Nwando Ebizie's Distorted Constellations from Fri 18 Jan (until 26 Jan).
Further afield, Tin Can People's Katie & Pip is at the Arts Centre at Edgehill University on Thu 17 Jan.

The following week (w/c 21 Jan) PUSH includes James MonaghanGareth CutterChanje KundaBabel Theatre + Javaad Alipoor's Propel. The rest of the world is wakingup progressively, with Leo Burtin at the Lowry; Jo Fong + Sonia Hughes at CCFCA; Ruth Cockburn at The Met, Bury and (a lot) further afield Rosana Cade + Ivor McAskill at MAC Birmingham.

I'm also aiming to make some forays to London for NOW 19 and, presuming I make it back, the next Weekly Warning should also contain details of the Word of Warning Spring/Summer 2019 programme. In the meantime, if you're feeling creative and want to turn your hand to all ages live art - have a look at our Haphazard 2019 call for proposals.

Best
