Since this week's government is holding us in NPO suspended animation for another week, the forthcoming anniversary of sedition takes on a whole new significance... And that's before we've even reached Halloween so:

This weekend Contact has Artists Make Space on Fri 28 + Sat 29 Oct; and Watch Us Dance is at the New Adelphi Theatre, University of Salford, tonight, Fri 28 Oct.
Further afield, in Liverpool, Sonia Sabri's Roshni is at the Capstone Theatre on Sat 29 Oct; while at the Unity Theatre DaDaFest has Kadisha Kayana Sunshine and Shadows  on Fri 28 Oct and Rhiannon May's Crash Landing on Sat 29 Oct.  In St Helens Lowri Evans's Takeover 2022  runs 28 Oct - 13 Nov including Jenny Gaskell's The Cloakroom and David Hoyle's Ten Commandments both on Sat 29 Oct.
In Leeds, Slung Low has Pigfoot's Hot in Here at the Holbeck on Fri 28 Oct; while in Sheffield Ad Infinitum's Beautiful Evil is at the Drama Studio, Sheffield on Sun 30 Oct

Next week (w/c 31 Oct) Pigfoot's Hot in Here is at Contact (1-3 Nov); IMPact's Dance Lab is at The Lowry on Wed 2 Nov; and Anna Clover's Going Deutsch is at Manchester Jewish Museum on Sun 6 Nov.
Elsewhere, Witch Hunt is in Sheffield on Mon 31 Oct.
If there's one thing to make an effort for this week it's Back to Back Theatre's The Shadow Whose Prey The Hunter Becomes at Leeds Playhouse (2-5 Nov). Also in Leeds, Alethia Antonia's Inscribed in "Me" is at NSCD; and Aura is at CLAY, both on Fri 4 Nov.
Vincent Dance Theatre's Hold Tight is at the Unity in Liverpool also on Fri 4 Nov; while in St Helens, Figs in Wigs' Astrology Bingo is at Thatto Heath Labour Club on Fri 4 Nov and Sonia Hughes's I am from Reykjavik is in Church Square on Sat 5 Nov.

Keep checking the various festivals: Lowri Evans's Takeover 2022 (until 13 Nov); DaDaFest (until 3 Dec);  and Homotopia (1-20 Nov).

The following week (w/c 7 Nov) Reckless Sleepers are at New Adelphi, Lava Elastic is at Contact; CRIPtic Cabaret at HOME; Rendez-Vous Dance and a Scratch Night at The Lowry; and Going Deutsch at the Old Courts, Wigan.
Vincent Dance are in Ormskirk; while Liverpool has WomanHood, Symoné and Bus Regulation, the Musical. Eva Recacha is in Lancaster; and Unfinished Business and Feast: Pear and and Turntable Theatre's Made of Stars are in St Helens.
 
Online: A Bit of a Do has a Short Film Showcase (21-29 Oct) and all the DaDaFest shows are available 31 Oct-18 Dec. There's also Lowri Evans's Telenovela, Lowry Digital, HOMESCREEN, MIF Watch On DemandUnity Online + Sadlers Wells Digital Stage and the Word of Warning YouTube.
