warnmcr: shaken not stirred...

From milkshakes to unstirred affirmation of shaky figures, this week has been the perfect example of not letting the truth ruin a good story...  Away from the political drama, things are pretty quiet:

This weekend, Schechter II's From England With Love is at HOME (until 8 Jun); or on a musical note, Huang Ruo's City of Floating Sounds is at Aviva Studios (until 9 Jun); while on a historical note, both Manchester Histories Festival and Universally Manchester run until 9 Jun.

Further afield, in Leeds, very sadly, tonight Fri 7 Jun sees Happy Ending - CLAY's closing party.

In Lancaster, The Duke's has Carbon Theatre's The Witness tonight Fri 7 Jun. On Sat 8 June, Sheffield Theatres have Thatcher-rite and Theatre Deli has Shift + Space including Voidspace Live! on Sat 9 Jun; while in Leeds, Emergence 24 is at the Riley Theatre.

Next week (w/c 10 Jun) the Festival of Libraries  takes place 12-16 Jun across Manchester or you could try Mohand and Peter at HOME on Thu 14 + Fri 15 Jun.

In Leeds, on Fri 14 Jun you can see Emilyn Claid's Untitled at the Riley Theatre and Gobscure's You Have Already Surivived at Slung Low's Warehouse on Sat 15 Jun. In Sheffield, Unwired Dance Theatre's Where We Meet is at Theatre Deli on Fri 14 + Sat 15 Jun; and The Monocle is at the Drama Studio on Sat 15 Jun.

The following week (w/c 17 Jun) seems even quieter - so far all I've come across is House of Mcr at Aviva Studios (20-22 Jun). In Liverpool, Ugly Bucket's Stuffed is at the Unity on Thu 20 Jun and That F*cking Seagull is at Theatre Deli in Sheffield on Fri 21 + Sat 22 Jun.
