Forgive the dreadful Concord pun of this week's subject line - my head is split across a number of shows and obviously humour is obviously misfiring! On this disappointingly grey October morning - there is definitely a plethora of stuff going on:

Tomorrow, Sat 23 Oct sees the opening of the live development of Mandla Rae's As British As A Watermelon at Contact as part of Black Gold Arts Festival (until 29 Oct in person + online); while Corridor of Light runs until 23 Oct, along and around Oxford Road. There's also My White Best Friend at the Royal Exchange on Sat 23 + Sat 30 Oct while Journeys Festival (until 24 Oct) sees a mix of installation and digital.
In Liverpool at Unity, Dibby Theatre's The First Time is tonight Fri 22 Oct; while Transcend Theatre's How To Kill A Rose is tomorrow, Sat 23 Oct.
In Leeds, Quarantine's 12 Last Songs has its marathon outing at Leeds Playhouse - also tomorrow, Sat 23 Oct.
Next week, w/c 25 Oct at Contact Mandla Rae's As British As A Watermelon continues until Wed 27 Oct; followed by This House is On Fire on Sat 30 Oct. HOME has Hofesh Schechter's Political Mother Unplugged (27-30 Oct) and Emmanuela Yogolelo's Tales from the Congo Basin(2pm, Fri 29 Oct).
And, as ever, keep your eye on the final few Manchester Independents events, including Breaking Barriers' Stories We Tell taking to the streets of Rochdale, 27-30 Oct.
Further afield, Lancaster Arts has New Art Club's Cupid's Revenge on Tue 26 Oct; while in Sheffield Namiuki Dance Theatre's Exploring The Man/Puberty is at Theatre Deli on Fri 29 Oct and the Enable US Festival also kicks off (31 Oct - 19 Dec). Liverpool sees the start of Homotopia(28 Oct -14 Nov) while much, much further afield, in Ipswich Spill Festival runs 27-31 Oct.
The following week, w/c 1 Nov, Dickson Mbi is at The Lowry; while in Castlefield Bowl, MIF welcomes The Walk: When the Birds Land; and there are two theatrical offerings: at Contact, Ergon Theatre's The Wicked Game and at HOME, Antler's Civilisation.
Lancaster Arts has Company Carpi's When You Light a Candle; and in Liverpool at Homotopia, Harry Clayton-Wright hosts You Otter Know and there's An Evening with David Hoyle

New offerings include Chanje Kunda's Plant Fetish until 29 Oct; and an assortment of work at Unity Online (including catch ups of in person programme).
Tamzen Moulding's Fall, Wake + Exit continues until 1 Dec via The Lowry; while HOME's HOMEMAKERS is still running and there's also still MIF Watch On Demand - plus the online offerings from Black Gold Arts Festival and other festivals listed above.
