warnmcr: taking stock...

So unbelievably February is looming already, not that I trust for a second the hazy sunshine that's peeking through this morning...

This weekend, you can still catch Hercules Productions' Rasta Liv at HOME (tonight Fri 26 + tomorrow Sat 27 Jan) while Queer Contact 2018 (27 Jan-24 Feb) kicks off tomorrow, Sat 27 Jan, with a Mother's Ruin at Oldham Coliseum. Further afield Bryony Kimmings + Brian Lobel's A Pacifist's Guide To The War On Cancer starts its run at Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse (26 Jan-3 Feb).

Next week (w/c 29 Jan) seems a bit on the quiet side but Hofesh Schechter's Grand Finale is at HOME (31 Jan-3 Feb); while Rebekka Platt's SHIFT is at Partisan on Thu 1 Feb; and Keisha Thompson's Man On The Moon is at Liverpool Unity also on Thu 1 Feb.

The following week (w/c 5 Feb) Jamie Fletcher & Co are at the Palace Theatre courtesy of Queer Contact.  If you fancy travelling pickings are quite rich, with Tom Cassani in Crewe; Motionhouse in Chester; YesYesNoNo in Sheffield; The Hiccup Project at Edgehill; Tin Can People in Lancaster and Christopher Brett Bailey in Blackpool.

We at Word of Warning, meanwhile, are taking a little time out from programme for a bit of stock-taking, so Spring/Summer will be quite quiet - though fittingly we will next be popping up with a WTF at The Lowry with Proto-type Theater's The Audit (tickets available Fri 2 Feb).
