As we the solstice comes and goes and the glasto revelries kick off, here we are in a different kind of festival season:

   
This weekend Jenni Jackson's Endurance is at HOME (until Sat 24 Jun); Emergence is at the New Adelphi on Fri 23 Jun; while Didsbury Arts Festival runs  24 Jun - 2 Jul - look out for Darkfield's Flight on Sat 24 Jun at Didsbury Library. Elsewhere on Sat 24 Jun, there's a Scratch Studio at Liverpool Everyman and Liz Richardson's Swim is at Sheffield Playhouse.

Next week (w/c 26 Jun) The Lowry has Yasmeen Audisho Ghrawi's From the Daughter of a Dictator on Fri 30 Jun + Mohamed Toukabri's The Power of the Fragile on Sat 1 Jul. In Didsbury, Owen + Slater's Try | Trying | Tried is at Pizza Express on Tue 27 Jun; while James Rowland's Learning to Fly is at Didsbury Baptist Church on Sat 1 Jul.

The week also sees the start of Manchester International Festival (29 Jun-16 July), look out for Tino Seghal This Entry, Blast Theory + Manchester Street Poem We Cut Through Dust both running throughout.
GM Fringe also gets going (1-31 July) including a couple of intriguing things online: Making It Up and Tigers in the Wisteria throughout July.

Beyond Mancunia, Lancaster Arts has Rendez-Vous Dance What Songs May Do on Tue 27 Jun + UKRLAND on Wed 28 Jun; while in Preston Derelict presents Superphonic on Thu 29 + Fri 30 Jun at Media Factory, UCLAN.
In Liverpool, there's Physical Fest (29 Jun-7 Jul) with Tmesis Theatre's Sealskin at the Everyman (29 Jun - 1 Jul).

The following week (w/c 3 Jul) look out for Balmy Army and Rimini Protokoll's All Right Good Night at MIF, while GM Fringe has Transparency at both 53Two + Salford Arts Theatre.
In Liverpool, Physical Fest at the Unity has Choosh!, Dive and Blind. In Wigan Touretteshero is at Wigan Pier. In Leeds there's Encounters.
