warnmcr: uncapped...

In the face of the energy-sapping gloom of the news cycle, at least this early February is seeing lights up on a few more performative options:

IRL:
This weekend, tonight Fri 4 Feb, The Lowry has the Horizons Collective Shoots Scratch, while Hope Mill's Turn On Fest has a Development Evening on Sun 6 Feb. Further afield, in Leeds, Yorkshire Dance has No Dress Code on Fri 4 Feb and Slung Low at The Holbeck has Avital Raz's My Jerusalem on Sat 5 Feb.

Next week (w/c 7 Feb) Motionhouse's Nobody is at HOME (10-12 Feb) while Queer Contactruns roughly 10-19 Feb - this week look out for a Scratch on Sat 12 Feb and The Family Vogue Ball on Sun 13 Feb.
Levantes Dance Theatre's The Band is at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield on Tue 8 Feb and The Duke's, Lancaster on Fri 11 Feb. Silvia Mercuriali's Macondo is at the Unity, Liverpool on Fri 11 Feb; while  Edalia Day's Too Pretty to Punch is at The Holbeck in Leeds on Sat 12 Feb. Much further afield, BE Festival  is at Birmingham Rep (15-18 Feb).

The following week (w/c 14 Feb) Queer Contact continues including Emma Frankland and the Vogue Ball. Elsewhere, Gecko are in Chester; The Empathy Experiment in Huddersfield and Rowena Gander in Liverpool.

Online:
Proto-type Theater's A Dangerous Thing continues via The Lowry until Thu 18 Feb; you can send away for Third Angel's The Distraction Agents and there's always HOMESCREEN and MIF Watch On Demand.
