Further afield, in Lancaster you can catch Fabiola Santana's A Home For Grief  at St John the Evangelist Church until 30 Apr; while in Preston Lancashire Fringe Festival is up and running.
In Liverpool, Figs in Wigs' Little Wimmin is tonight, Fri 29 Apr; and Freestylers' Everybody With Me, Always is at The Bluecoat on Sat 30 + Sun 1 May;
In Leeds Akram Khan's Chotto Xenos is at NCSD on Fri 29 + Sat 30 Apr.
MUCH further afield in Gateshead, GIFT Festival takes place 29 Apr - 1 May (check out online content)

Next week (w/c 2 May) the place to be is with us at The Lowry for the aforementioned Proto-type's Dead Cats on Wed 4 May. 
SICK! Festival touches down in Moston throughout May, while beyond Mancunia, Figs in Wigs' Little Wimmin is at Lancaster Arts on Thu 5 May, while in Leeds, CLAYground has Daniel Oliver's The Board Game on Fri 6 May.

The following week (w/c 9 May) gets busier with Candoco at the Lowry, Between Tiny Citiesat Contact, and RashDash at HOME. Further afield Company Chameleon are in Leeds while much further, Mayfest starts in Bristol.
