Brought to you by the power of time travel as I'm actually currently in Liverpool at Hope Street Ltd's On The Verge, a sited festival featuring emerging artists working in a variety spaces all over Liverpool city centre (running until this Sunday 20 October). Also in Liverpool, Philip Jeck & Rebecca Sharp are at the Bluecoat, Liverpool tonight, Fri 18th.
In the Manchester environs next week, Tim Crouch's I, Malvolio comes to Z-arts on Tues 22 Oct (daytime); Michael Clark visits the Lowry on Weds 23 Oct, and the Assemble DIY performance platform event is at Sand Bar, Grosvenor St, Manchester on Thurs 24 Oct.
Further afield, Zoo Indigo's Doublebill is at Live at LICA, Lancaster on Tues 22 Oct; La Petite Morte's No Big Deal (two works by Ellen Turner and George Adams) at Edgehill on Thurs 24th; and New Art Club's Feel About Your Body is at Axis, Crewe also on Thurs 24th.
The following week (w/c 28 Oct) sees Forced Entertainment land at Contact; Reckless Sleepers at Axis Crewe, Mary Pearson at the Unity, Liverpool.
Back to my time-travelling ways in Liverpool and wondering how I'll get to Leeds by this evening.
