This weekend it's all go in Leeds with the concluding part of Transform Festival, running until Sat 4 May with: Action Hero's Oh Europa continuing; plus machina eX's Rewire Leeds; colectivA ocupaçao's When It Breaks It Burns (coming to Manchester next week), Tianzhuo Chen's An Atypical Brain Damage + Julian Hetzel's All Inclusive.
Slung Low at The Holbeck have BÉZNĀ Theatre's Illegalised on Sun 5 May; while Leeds International Festival (2-12 May) is also up and running.
Closer to home, CYC + BAC Homegrown's Ramping Up is at the Bread Shed (Fri 3 + Sat 4 May); and in Liverpool, Imitating the Dog's Heart of Darkness is at the Playhouse (until 4 May).
Next week (w/c 6th May) Contact presents colectivA ocupaçao When It Breaks It Burns at Millennium Powerhouse (Wed 8 + Thu 9 May). Bertrand Lesca + Nasi Voutsas's One (8-10 May) +Peaches Christ's Drag Becomes Her (8-11 May) are at HOME; while Rhiannon Faith's Smack That is at The Lowry on Sat 11 May.
Leeds International Festival continues with Rachel Mars + Greg Wohead's Story #1 on Mon 6 May at Brewery Green at The Tetley; Maya Chowdhry's What's Eating Reality on Tue 7 May at 3 Sheaf Street; Hannah Buckley's The Mountain and Other Tales of She Transformed on Wed 8 May at Leeds Arts University; The Grief Series' All That Lives, Feasts on Fri 10 May at the Merrion Centre; and Tommy Cash + Yves Tumor's JUICEBOX on Sat 11 May at Brewery Green at The Tetley.
The following week (w/c 13 May) quite terrifyingly for us, it's all about Works Ahead 2019 in STUN Studio at Z-arts; or check out Fabiola Santana in Lancaster.
